Does Dr. Treat recommend raw foods for dogs and cats?

A raw food diet for dogs consists of uncooked meats, raw eggs, and whole or ground bones. Raw food is not recommended by Dr. Treat because these foods could be imbalanced nutritionally, contaminated and can lead to serious bacterial infections, such as Salmonella, that can compromise your dog's gut and general health.  These infections can be zoonotic in nature and can be passed to humans, which can affect your own health.
